In 2021 the Mach 1 returned to the Mustang line up, a special high performance variant of the Mustang that has worn the badge for 5 decades after first being introduced in 1969. The FN or sixth generation Mustang Mach 1 utilises the same 5.0-litre Coyote V8 engine as the GT models, but with a small 6kw power bump. However the Mach 1 sees a large range of other significant upgrades, helping this performance variant stand out. Sharing parts from the Shelby GT350 and GT500 which were unfortunately not introduced to the Australian market, the Mach 1 receives a Tremec 3160 six-speed manual from a Shelby GT350, an intake manifold, oil-filter adapter, engine oil cooler, and front and rear subframe from the Shelby GT350, and a rear axle cooling system, rear toe link, and rear diffuser from Shelby GT500. Additional features are special badging throughout, upgraded aerodynamics, exclusive paint, unique stickers, and a raised rev limit to 7500 RPM.
This as new manual Ford Mustang Mach 1 has been carefully stored and preserved since new with just a mere 238km on the clock. The car is finished in an ideal choice of Fighter Jet Grey with orange and black accents, making this Mach 1 truly stand out over the lower spec GT models. As expected for the 238km traveled the car presents as new inside and out, with the tyres retaining 100% tread, both remote keys included, original service books with the first service already completed and the Certificate Of Authenticity. This example also carries current NSW registration until the 10th July 2024, making this a drive out the door and ready to enjoy example.
