The De Tomaso Deauville was introduced in 1970 as a four-door luxury sedan, marking a departure from De Tomaso's traditional focus on high-performance sports cars. Named after the French resort town of Deauville, renowned for its opulence and elegance, the Deauville was intended to cater to a more affluent clientele seeking comfort and prestige. Designed by renowned Italian stylist Tom Tjaarda, the Deauville featured a sleek and sophisticated exterior with classic proportions and refined details. Its styling was distinctly Italian, blending elements of luxury and performance seamlessly.
With less than 244 units ever produced this example of a De Tomaso Deauville is arguably one of the most impressive and optioned examples remaining in the world. This is a running and driving turn key example without needing restoration making this an ideal choice for a collector. The factory 300hp 351ci Ford V8 that is shared with the Pantera performs beautifully and makes maintenance a simple task unlike many other Italian exotics.
