The Mercedes Benz S-Class has always been associated with the higher end of luxury, no matter where you are in the world. Generation after generation the S-Class continues to be one of the leaders in car technology. The 560 SEL is the high-performance version of the S-Class Saloon. The W126 S-Class was the successor to the W116 and was produced from 1989 until 1991. The 560 SEL came factory with loads of features ahead of its time such as power steering, power windows, power sunroof, central locking, air conditioning, injected 5.5L V8 and much more.This particular 1988 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL is one of the most highly optioned 560 SEL's ever to have been imported into Australia with many features never before seen in Australian cars including heated front and rear electric seats with memory, adaptive driving modes, electric windows, cruise control, headlight wipers, and much, much more.
This 560 SEL has current ACT registration and runs and drives well however would require some work to be brought back to its former glory. Inspections are recommended before placing a bid.
CONDITION REPORT
Runs and drives well.
Hydraulic suspension removed and replaced with standard coils, ABC module has been removed, Interior trim is rough in places, sump is dented, oil leaks coming from engine.
Unable to locate an import plate however car was imported some time ago and is current on full ACT registration.
