Originally released to celebrate 50 years of General Motors in Australia in 1976, this special edition Kingswood is one of only 500 HX Anniversary sedans ever made. Based on the Kingswood, they gained a unique two-tone colour scheme, colour-coded HJ Premier wheels, and were specified similar to the vacationer with bucket seats, venetians, carpets and T-Bar automatics.
This example is a turn key, ready to be enjoyed example that would make a great weekender or even classic daily driver. The HX has been left in very original condition and despite some bubbles and wear and tear, presents well overall. The original venetians and colour coded wheels are missing, however period and style correct wheels are fitted. The two tone blue is a unique and hard to find colour scheme making this a very desirable choice. A period correct sunvisor has been fitted and colour matched, and appears to have been on the car for some time and the HX includes a tow bar as well. The only notable modifications are lowered suspension and a Sony aftermarket head unit with Bluetooth and Kenwood speakers. The HX has traveled an indicated 235,397ks since new with 2x keys and current full ACT registration until 23/05/2025.
