The Holden VL Commodore is an iconic Australian Sedan being the last iteration of the first generation of commodores produced by Holden between 1986 and 1988 and in recent years has dramatically increased in value due to its popularity among Australian car enthusiast and collectors. It is a popular platform for modifications with factory examples available in a 3.0L 6 cylinder, 3.0L Turbo charged and Australian build "Iron Lion" 5L V8.

This standout example has been built from the ground up to pay tribute to the popular Walkinshaw group A SS. The engine is a reconditioned 308ci V8 engine that has that has been fitted with Speedpro flat top pistons, Molly rings, a9 l x rods and ported heads with black group A valves, Molly pushrods, lt1 springs, Yella terra adjustable roller rockers, Aftermarket 286 Crane cam with matching anti-pump up lifters and a Holley 650 double pump carburetor on an Edlebrock manifold  backed by a Turbo700 4 speed auto gearbox with B&M shifter, stage 2 shift kit with 2500 rpm Dominator stall converter. Other modifications include a full Walkinshaw body kit, Pedders suspension and newer VT brakes, Reco ls disc brake diff with 3:46 ratio gears, Calais interior in good condition including door trims, MOMO steering wheel, 20 inch MOMO Star wheels, pacemaker extractors that have been heat wrapped and a new Redback 2.5 inch exhaust and much more.
