This VL Commodore is a rare find with a HDT Designer package installed when the car was new as well as SV front seats in original matching material. The Designer package featured a Calais Sports rear deck spoiler, grille and air damn, HDT 15x7 Aero wheels, body coloured bumpers and side moldings, Designer badging, and a HDT steering wheel which has now been removed and will not be included in the sale (standard steering wheel in photos). The vendor states the Victorian plates have been on the car since new, with the original faded tin plates also included in the sale.

This example has also been modified and features a 5-litre 195i V8 engine from a HSV Clubsport, backed by a TH350 automatic gearbox with a 2500 stall converter. Other features and modifications include original set of venitians, Brock radio & rear parcel speakers, black aerial, boot carpet, high rise centre console with sunglass holder, VL Turbo LSD diff, full exhaust, upgraded fuel pump, new battery and tyres, Cobra alarm system, box of spare parts and more.
