HSV was a joint venture between Tom Walkinshaw and Holden and was introduced in 1987 as the performance vehicle sector of Holden, after controversies around the HDT Director and Energy Polarizer from Peter Brock's HDT vehicle sector. The VE Series Holden was announced in July 2006, and by August '06 the new range of HSV models were being released. The 6.0lt LS2 was still being utilised from the VZ series but with 13hp increase in power thanks to an updated exhaust system.

This very well presented 2006 VE Clubsport R8 is build number 609 and was built on the 08/11/2006. From factory the car was finished in Nickel Silver with black leather trim and an automatic gearbox. The car is in particularly good condition throughout, and has traveled 81,162ks since new with current ACT Registration until 31/01/2024, both remote keys and full service history. The Clubsport features Xenon headlights, foglights, ventilated brakes, 19" alloy wheels, black leather seats, multi function steering wheel, mobile phone connectivity, cruise control, dual zone climate control, limited slip differential, power windows and mirrors and more.
