The Ford XB Falcon is a full size car that was produced by ford from 1973 until 1976. It was the second iteration of the third generation of the Falcon that also included the Luxury orientated Ford XB Fairmont. The XB had some minor cosmetic differences to its predecessors aimed at giving the car a more muscular stance. The XB also saw the release of Front disc brakes across all models.
You can’t go past the XB Falcon if you’re after a true collectable Aussie car. Here we have an original and untouched 1974 Ford XB Fairmont sedan with the original 250ci inline 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed automatic transmission. The car is presented in entirely original and untouched condition. The Car came factory with a gold paint job with a white roof and a black leather interior.
This Fairmont does run and drive and starts well even when cold although it has a flat battery. The car been unregistered for some time and would suit restoration. Although complete the car has rust in some of the body panels and the interior is in average condition. Inspections are recommended before placing a bid.
