The Citroën DS/ID are front-engined, front-wheel drive cars manufactured and marketed by Citroën from 1955 to 1962 in sedan, wagon and convertible body configurations. It was known for its aerodynamic, futuristic body design and innovative technology, and set new standards in ride quality, handling, and braking — thanks to both being the first mass production car equipped with hydropneumatic suspension. It placed third in the 1999 Car of the Century poll recognizing the world's most influential auto designs and was named the most beautiful car of all time by Classic & Sports Car magazine.
A genuine barn find – this Citroen ID-19 has been kept in storage for the past several years. The engine was running when it was last parked, but an engine start has not been attempted since. An ideal candidate for restoration.
Vehicle is complete, but missing right rear indicator lens.
Includes 2 spare wheels and some other parts in the boot.
