The fourth generation Chevrolet El Camino is an iconic and recognisable classic American muscle car. The El Camino featured significant improvements from previous generations mainly in the chassis and suspension with a wider wheel track and changed clearance for spring travel it allowed for a smoother ride which the early Chevrolets are known for. The 1975 model also featured a few cosmetic upgrades including twin sport mirrors, front grill and more whilst retaining the classic round headlights that later generations lost. There were only 33,620 of the 1975 El Caminos produced and with far less that have had the care to keep them running today.
This running and driving example El Camino on offer is an ideal choice if you’re looking to make an Classic and Unique American cruiser or a powerful street/drag car. With plenty of work already carried out this makes for an ideal weekend or family project car and with the inclusion of workshop manuals and import documentation makes for a simpler registration process. While the car has yet to be registered in Australia these forms and approvals are required to process the registration when ready.
This El Camino is an ideal and mostly complete project car and with some time an effort it would make a perfect weekend toy or collectors’ vehicle.
