Becoming increasingly sought-after, this 302ci V8 Fairmont can also boast that it’s a Matching Numbers car (identical VIN and engine numbers). Built in February 1977, with the popular 4.9L (302ci) V8 Cleveland engine, it’s mated with the 3-Speed Cruisomatic T-Bar Automatic Transmission. It has been previously resprayed in its original metallic “Antique Gold” colour, this popular Aussie V8 classic is a true survivor. This vehicle has been kept in its fairly original condition, with the addition of the period-correct 14” Chrome 12-Slotter wheels.
The interior is in a very presentable condition, with some of the headlining at the very rear of the ceiling peeling back a little. The front and rear seats are in excellent condition, as is the black vinyl dash pad with no cracks!
Other features include: Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Tow Bar, 2-way Tailgate door (opens down or to the side), Factory Roof Racks, New Rear Carpet, Kenwood CD Stereo.
Aussie-built V8s are no longer being produced and are fast-becoming true collector pieces. Enjoy driving it today, or lock it away for safe keeping. It can be registered on historic (car club) rego or full rego.
This V8 Fairmont would make a great addition to anyone’s classic collection.
