Rare 4x4 F100 Ex-Ambulance

The Ford F100 is hard to miss. It is an enormous car that has earned its collectors value. This F100 is a 4x4 Ex-Ambulance which originally serviced Mt Beauty to Falls Creek Snow Resort. The car is only 1 of 3 produced in a 351 V8 4x4 specification and has travelled only 81,000ks since new.
The F100 was privately purchased by the vendor in 2000 where it was completely serviced, painted partially grey and had the gas installed (not used now). The car was used rarely before being sold in 2004 to a family friend. The car did a trip from VIC to Eden and then Canberra before being parked at a residence in Wodonga. Since 2004 when this F100 was sold it has travelled only a mere 4000kms. The vendor purchased the F100 back last year, checked the vehicle still ran before having it transported to Wangaratta to have another service carried out and the gas removed. New tyres were also fitted as well as a new brakes and a full clean up of the vehicle.
The vendor has stated that there is some blow-by and that the A/C while connected isn’t working, and that the transmission when cold can be a bit slow. With a small amount of restoration this car could relive its former days or with a few modifications this F100 would make a fantastic camper.
This car is an ideal weekender or collector's piece.
