The Porsche Cayenne was first introduced in 2002 as the first road going luxury SUV Porsche had designed. Initially the car wasn't all to well received, however the Cayenne quickly gained popularity and Porsche invested in additional trim levels and power-plant combinations. The second-gen Cayenne was introduced in 2010 and would be produced on Volkswagen's PL72 platform, a platform shared with other luxury SUV's such as the Audi Q7, and the Volkswagen Touraeg. The Cayenne Turbo was the flagship model in the range upon release, fitted with twin turbocharged 4.8-litre V8 which produced and incredible 368kw of power at 700nm of torque, pushing the Cayenne from 0-100 in just 4.7 seconds. Despite the SUV's size and incredible performance the Cayenne Turbo only uses a quoted 12.2-litres of fuel per 100km of travel.
