Rare and desirable factory 308ci V8 Premier sedan, single family owned since new!

This rare and desirable factory 308ci V8 Premier sedan has been owned by a single family since new and has recently been removed from storage and driven to us for sale. This Adelaide built example was one of the last HQ's produced with production ending in June 1974, the same month this was complied, and would be then sold new in Wagga Wagga in 1974. The Premier was finished from the factory in Gunmetal Metallic with a 308ci 5-litre V8 and 3-speed Trimatic auto gearbox, with the white vinyl roof being fitted by Holden after production prior to delivery of the car in 1974.
The Premier shows 41,882ks on the odometer (stops at 99,999ks) with the vendor noting this has been around twice (241,882ks). The original engine and gearbox were reconditioned in early 2000's of which the car has traveled less than 10,000ks since. The vendor has noted some changes and modifications have been fitted to the Premier throughout its life, these include, factory air conditioning has been removed, front seat belts changed for compliance, Pioneer stereo fitted with a power aerial, speakers added to front kick panels and rear parcel shelf, air horns fitted, fuel tank and carburetor removed when LPG fitted by Ace Gas Conversions in 1996.
From 1974 this Premier was used as a family car and would come to Canberra in 1994 where it would be used as a daily driver until 2000. The Premier was then placed into storage until 2008 when it was then driven down to Melbourne where it was used as a weekend car a few times a year. In 2018 the car was driven back to Canberra and again placed into storage before being driven to us for this sale. The Premier has been unregistered since 2018 and the gas was also last inspected in 2018.
This is a great example of a running and driving, highly desirable vinyl top factory V8 HQ Premier that is certainly not to be missed.
