The Ford XD Falcon is the first of the smaller sedans made in Australia by Ford. The XD replaced the larger XC falcon with its larger American ‘Coke bottle’ design. It was designed for Ford to become the leading car manufacturer in Australia. The XD slowly overtook the Holden Commodore in sales which has cemented its name as an Australian Classic.
This XD is the perfect base car for a tuff streetcar build or powerful drag car project. This is a great example of a Ford XD Falcon that sports the 351 V8 with plenty of aftermarket modifications to go with it. It also has been LPG converted which makes this car stand out from the crowd compared to other petrol-guzzling V8’s.
