Easily one of the most iconic vehicles of all time no matter where you are in the world. The Volkswagen Beetle was created off the idea that Adolf Hitler wanted a small, economical car that could be easily mass produced, and it worked. The VW Beetle is still the longest-running and most produced car in history with over 21.5 million built.This 1975 example has the 57hp 1600cc air-cooled engine matched with a 4spd manual transmission. The interior is in good condition for its age with the seats in fair condition underneath the seat covers. The engine and transmission both are in good working order.
This is the perfect base for a project and with some work could be brought back to exceptional condition. Otherwise dependent on taste it has the perfect patina for a rat rod or sleeper.
