HSV was a joint venture between Tom Walkinshaw and Holden and was introduced in 1987 as the performance vehicle sector of Holden, after controversies around the HDT Director and Energy Polarizer from Peter Brock's HDT vehicle sector. The VT Clubsports were produced from 1997 until 2000 and the VT II Clubsport was the first generation of HSV that would use the now world famous alloy block LS1 V8 Producing 250 kw or 335 hp which was a significant increase of power over the iron block 5L of its predecessors. This well kept VT II Clubsport R8 is build number 170 of only 193 ever made. The R8 badge set it aside from the Base model Clubsport with its factory larger brakes, leather Coulsons and 18" alloy wheels.

With prices for HSV's having increased significantly this is a great opportunity to get yourself into one of the more collectable Clubsports. Finished in the stunning and vibrant Sting Red this VT II R8 Clubsport is powered by a 5.7L LS1 V8 and backed by a 4 speed automatic gearbox.
