The Corona RT130 series is the sixith generation of the Corona, a nameplate for Toyota's small family car. The sixth-gen Corona's to meet with Australia's local content rules around local manufacturing would be often fitted with Holden's 58kw 1.9-litre Starfire engine. When the RT132 Liftback was introduced to Australia it would carry over the 2.0-litre 18R-C engine which produced a more capable 63kw.
This Corona RT132 Liftback is an ideal entry level classic car. While Liftbacks are a rarer find over the standard Corona sedans, many parts carry over making them a simple classic for maintenance and parts. This is a well presented example overall, running and driving with an automatic transmission and appears totally complete. The car shows early signs of rust around the back window and could use a tune-up but is ready to be enjoyed and tinkered with on the weekends.
