The third generation Monaro was launched in 2001 after 25 years due to public pressure from the 1998 VT Coupe concept. HSV took on the Monaro as well, but dropped the name and called it the "Coupe". The initial range offered two models being the entry GTO and the top-spec GTS until the GTS was dropped for the Coupe4.

This is a very well presented genuine HSV GTS Coupe and not one to be missed. These do not come up for sale often, especially in this combo. With the value of these rising this is a great investment on a true Aussie muscle car that will continue to grow.

This vehicle on offer today is a true and rare collectors item. It is a true 230/250 GTS Coupe in Phantom black with the factory black on black leather / Alcantara diamond trim, of which very few were built in this combo. It has all the HSV GTS parts you would expect such as factory LSD differential, 6 piston front brakes, 4 piston rear brakes, Complete HSV tool kit, Factory shift light, Factory tinted windows, Factory CD stacker and more. The car has current NSW registration on personalised plates (GTS 230) until 29/04/2024 and has traveled only a mere 95,379ks since new with the original books and a folder with additional certificates, brochures, specs, receipts, build sheets and more.

This HSV GTS has some minor modifications including an exhaust and mild camshaft kit with standard features including: projector headlights, foglamps, 19" alloy wheels, HSV performance brakes, rear parking sensors, anthracite leather seats and trims, leather steering wheel, power mirrors, power windows, power seats with memory, auto headlight function, dual climate control, radio, cassette and multi-stack cd, power full-up/down radio antenna, front bucket seats and more.The GTS is a true Aussie performance vehicle that has been claimed to be the cornerstone of HSV's success.
