The E65 is the fourth generation of BMW's famous 7 series. produced from 2001 up until 2008 the E65 745Li came in both turbo diesel and the highly sought after V8. The 7 series was the first BMW to use the then-new BMW N62 V8 engine, which was the worlds first engine to use the continuously variable-length intake manifold as well as BMW's new variable valve lift giving it greater response and efficiency.
