One of the most infamous Commodores was the VN Commodore. Sporting a 5.0-litre V8 engine this car has become a solid choice for Holden collectors or car enthusiasts.
This VN was originally a
factory V8 automatic police car, and over the years has seen a number of
modifications, unfortunately in 2003 was stolen and recovered (has
carried both full NSW and ACT registration since). Both the performance
and overall look of the car have been enhanced with modifications that
include:
- T5 Manual conversion
- Stage 3 cam with chip
- Ported big valve heads
- Extractors with full 3” system
- Lowered springs and shocks
- Surge tank and upgraded fuel pump
- 3.9 diff with full spool
- Bucket seats and aftermarket steering wheel
This is the perfect base for a high powered street or drag car or could suit a slight refresh to make it a statement collectors piece.
