AMG is a performance name we are all familiar with for creating aggressive looking and performing top tier models across the Mercedes range. Originally an independent tuning company Mercedes parent company took sole ownership of AMG in 2005 and have expanded the brand on Mercedes to become the legend it is today.

The E55 AMG was built by AMG just before the takeover by Mercedes parent company. The E55 was far ahead of its time, both in performance and technology, and would still out perform and out feature most cars even available today.  Boasting 470hp through the supercharged 5.5 litre V8 the car could push an outstanding 4.6 second 0-100 time in full luxury trim in 2004. All the E-Class luxury's were still retained making the car an absolute pleasure to drive, and performance certainly didn't come at any sacrifice to comfort.

This particular E55 presents exactly how you could ever want one, panoramic sunroof, paddle shift, heated leather seats, adjustable height air suspension, satellite navigation,  Bluetooth connectivity, and more. The rear main seal was weeping and has just been replaced to make sure this car presents perfectly. The car performs beautifully and is a particularly well presented example.

This is an unreal car in so many ways, and it is hard to believe its from 2005 whether your sitting inside or looking from the outside. These have certainly been climbing in price recently, an investment that can be driven with excitement.
