Launched in 2014 the W222 S-Class was the sixth generation of Mercedes flagship luxury sedan. Like all previous models the S-Class introduces a line up of new technology and features often not seen across other vehicles or marques.The W222 would utilise LED lighting only, both inside and outside the car, a first for a vehicle when released in 2014. In 2017 Mercedes released the facelift of the W222 which saw the introduction of several new models including the S450L. The S450L came with a 3.0-Litre M256 twin turbo six-cylinder that could propel the S-Class  from 0-100 in 5 seconds while still being able to average 7.5L combined fuel usage.
