The Bond Minicar would be produced between 1949 and 1966 in England by Sharp's Commercials Limited and would see 7 iterations. Across all of these iterations only 24,482 Bond Minicars would be built with only few surviving examples left, making this an even rarer find in Australia.
With minimal information to assist with working out the exact model and date of this example we have not been able to pinpoint the exact particulars, however based off of images of models we have found in comparison to the parts supplied, this example appears to be a late Mark C or early Mark D due to the front grille's unique shape and the rear wheel covers. The odometer shows 81,151 miles on the clock, but no service paperwork or log book has been located. This Minicar has sat inside a shed in the northwest of Sydney for a very long time and appears to have avoided any rust. An array of spare parts and an engine are included with no obvious signs of any major parts missing, however inspections are highly recommended to be certain the car meets your expectations. This is a very unique example of an entry level classic car, and could well be a fantastic opportunity for a simple weekend project. Due to the old NSW plates on the car, it appears to have held full registration in Australia.
