Rare and desirable 180b SSS Coupe!

Known as the 610 Bluebird overseas, Datsun produced the 610 in Clayton Victoria, badged for the local market as a 180B. The SSS or Super Sport Sedan came with a range of sport options over the standard models, including twin carbs and were used heavily in rally and motorsport. The 180B came with the 1.8-litre L18 engine, mated to either a four speed manual, or a three speed automatic transmission.

180b SSS Coupes are very few and far between now, making these rare vehicles popular among collectors. This example was factory finished in the popular of the time Orange, and appears to be mostly complete inside out, with assorted spares included in the boot. The 180B has been sitting inland on a property in west NSW and has suffered from rust, primarily in the lower lying areas and sills, but overall presents quite solid. The engine does turn over, but doesn't fire and therefore has not been tested further. This example would make a great base for restoration.
