Australian Clubman Sports 1300 racing emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a uniquely local take on lightweight, open-top circuit racing, inspired by British clubman formulas but adapted to Australian conditions and ingenuity. Built around simple tubular spaceframes, minimalist bodywork and affordable 1300cc production-based engines most commonly from Ford, Datsun and Toyota, Clubman Sports 1300 cars offered high performance through low weight rather than outright power. The category became a platform for engineering creativity and grassroots competition, featuring prominently at state-level circuits and club meetings across the country, and helping develop generations of Australian drivers and constructors. Today, Clubman Sports 1300 cars are celebrated for their raw driving experience, mechanical accessibility and important place in Australia’s motorsport heritage.

Care of Premises: All buyers are required to use due care when removing items to ensure no damage is caused to the premises.
