The FPV GT range was the real deal, an impeccable re introduction of the name plate which still impresses enthusiasts to this day. Based off the Falcon sedan the GT was Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) answer to HSV's Clubsport and would be the entry level to the FPV range. The Series 1 BA GT utilised Ford Australia's hand built 5.4-litre V8 engine with Mustang Cobra R cylinder heads to produce 290kw of power. The engine would go on to be known as the Boss 290. To differentiate the FPV GT range from the Falcon the car received a restyle including a full bodykit, large spoiler, updated wheels, updated seats and more. The GT-P version came with a full Brembo brake package as standard, despite being a $5,950 option on the GT, with seven spoke alloys and updated badging throughout to finish it off. With Ford Australia's demise and the Falcon range gone this saw special models like the FPV's increase in both demand for collectors and the price that goes with them.

This The GT-P is a single owner example offered from an estate, and is showroom presented inside and out, making this a truly rare find and an ideal choice for a die hard enthusiast or collector. The Canberra car since new GT-P has traveled only 104,023ks with extensive full service history, original FPV compendium with all documents, certificates of authenticity, sales pamphlets and even original build photos of the car on the production line as well as both keys with FOBS, and long current ACT registration until 05/07/2025. The GT-P shows little to no signs whatsoever of its age and is hard to fault from any angle.

Features include foglights, metallic paint, 18" FPV alloy wheels, Brembo front and rear brakes with ventilated discs, assorted spare parts, Allan Moffat signed poster, car cover, partial leather and suede seats with yellow stitching, multi function FPV steering wheel, cruise control, dual zone climate control, premium sound system with six stacker CD, push button start, power windows and mirrors, limited slip diff and more.
