The Nissan GT-R Is a name that nearly everyone knows when it comes to
high-performance sports cars. The GT-R Abbreviation stands for Grand
Turismo-Racing and has become a global icon for the Nissan brand.
Unveiled by Nissan in 2007 it was the highly anticipated successor to
the popular Skyline GT-R, a proven high performance variant of the
Nissan Skyline and while the nameplate "Skyline" had been dropped, the
GT-R retained its signature 4 round tail lights and a new and improved
version of the 6 cylinder twin turbo-charged all-wheel drive platform.
The production model of the GT-R was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor
Show as scheduled, right after an on screen 7:38 Minute lap time around
the Nurburgring Nordschleife beating the Porsche 911 (997) Turbo, also being the 7th fastest production vehicle ever around the track. The GT-R would see a range of updates, power increases and facelifts during its run between 2007-2021. October 2021 would mark the last of the R35 GT-R for Australia as the car now didn't meet local regulations and Nissan would not produce a 2022 model year internationally.
This
extremely well presented final ADM R35 GT-R has been sat in a private collection, reflecting the mere 2,506ks traveled since new and still retains factory warranty. This is one of only 17 Bayside Blue R35 GT-Rs produced for Australia, of which only 4 would be produced in an MY21.5 model such as this, with the Bayside Blue being offered as a reflection back to the R34 GT-R of the same colour. The GT-R presents as new inside and out as expected and contains both remote keys and all original books. The famous 3.8-litre twin turbo VR38DETT engine produces an incredible 419kw at 632nm of torque, which through the dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive-train pushes the GT-R from 0-100 in a mere 2.7 seconds.
Other features on this phenomenal car include active cornering light sensitive LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED tailights, heat insulated windscreen and side windows, ventilated bonnet, front and rear parking sensors, 20" alloy wheels, ventilated brakes with large gold calipers, dual twin tip exhaust system, partial leather seats with white stitching, Bose premium sound system, heated power front seats, carbon interior trim, multi function steering wheel with paddle shift, cruise control, mobile phone connectivity, satellite navigation, live data display, push button start, adaptive traction modes, adaptive suspension modes, adaptive driving modes, climate control, tyre pressure monitoring, active noise cancellation system, active torque transfer system with a limited slip diff and much more.
With the R36 GT-R destined to be electric and the R35 production for Australia now ceased this limited Bayside Blue as new GT-R is sure to be a fantastic investment, collectors piece or enjoyed with great pleasure.
