The 1984 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit sits right in the middle of Rolls-Royce’s transition from old-world craftsmanship to modern luxury engineering—a car that looks traditional on the surface but quietly ushered in a new era of technology for the brand. The successor to the Silver Shadow it was the marques endeavour to update the brand without alienating its existing customer base. By 1984, it was still an early 'Mark 1' car, meaning it retained much of the Shadow’s DNA: a hand-finished steel body, rear-wheel drive, and the revered hand-built 6.75L V8.
What defined the Silver Spirit was its hidden engineering, near silent cabin noise, effortless acceleration and hydropneumatic self levelling suspension - which kept the car perfectly level and helped float over imperfections making it one of the smoothest riding cars of its time. Visually, the 1984 model marked a subtle evolution. It was slightly larger and more rounded than the Silver Shadow, with cleaner lines that hinted at modernity without abandoning Rolls-Royce’s upright grille and formal proportions. Inside, it was pure old-school opulence: Connolly leather, deep Wilton carpets, and polished burl walnut dominating every surface, with the brand's philosophy evident in every detail.
This fine example of a Rolls Royce Silver Spirit has recently had travelled 249,840ks since new with original manuals and logbooks and currently registered on historic plates this opulent hand-built sedan is finished in Georgian Silver Metallic with Navy Blue interior, and features white wall tyres with good tread, metallic paint, original Spirit of Ecstacy hood ornament, chrome grille, pinstriping, power windows, power mirrors, navy blue Connolly leather and trim, rear footrests, gloss burr walnut interior accents, adjustable centre armrests, powered front seats, 3 speed column shift automatic transmission, cruise control, Blaupunkt stereo, air conditioning and more.

Clean and tidy and in good condition for age, some cracking to woodgrain lacquer on dash, seat adjustment motor working - not moving seat, rear p/s window slow to move
