This Short Deck DeVille was purchased in June 1961 by it's first owner in Stockton, California, USA, who retained the vehicle until passing when the family inherited the vehicle and held it until 2014. In July 2014 the DeVille was purchased and brought to Australia where it remained with its Australian owner for 8 years before being onsold in 2022. A significant collection of paperwork and invoices have been retained with the car, dating back to the original registration application in 1961.
This well presented and maintained example is finished in Olympic white over a white leatherette and black cloth-trimmed cabin, which features a two-tone black and white steering wheel and lashings of chrome trim. Standard features include tinted glass, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power-adjustable front seat, seat belts front and rear, and a power antenna with a new AM/FM radio from Retro Radios. The odometer currently displays around 16,113 miles and it has turned over previously. This is a rare opportunity to secure a overwhelmingly original example of the luxury American classic.
