HSV was a joint venture between Tom Walkinshaw and Holden and was introduced in 1987 as the performance vehicle sector of Holden after controversies around the HDT Director and Energy Polarizer from Peter Brock's HDT vehicle sector. Between 2002-2004 HSV would release the VY GTS 300, a unique and limited offering to the market on a built to order basis. With only 142 units produced in total between both the Series 1 an Series 2, the HSV VY GTS 300 is without doubt one of the most sought after collectables HSV's ever produced. Utilising a specially developed and modified Callaway C4B 5.7L LS1 engine the GTS produced an impressive 300kw at 510nm of torque, an enormous jump over the standard LS1 offering.

This Phantom Black VY GTS 300 is an ideal and impressively presented example, making this a desirable offering for any collector or enthusiast. Fully optioned from factory this build number #10 GTS is a Series 1 example of which only 117 were produced. As the images show this example has been extremely well cared for top to tail and shows no signs of the 165,997ks traveled. All original documentation, certificates and books are included with full service history and both remote keys also included. The car has received minor modifications including a mild cam, OTR intake, and an exhaust with extractors however the original airbox and a replacement unworn stereo is supplied with the sale. 

The car is loaded with features for its time including the optioned features of satellite navigation, power sunroof, rear parking sensors and premium AP Brake package. Standard features include HSV black leather interior, power windows and mirrors, HSV multi function steering wheel, digital climate control, centre instrument gauges, 6 stacker CD player, electric front seats, cruise control, and much more.
