The B120 Datsun 1200 ute, known in various markets as the Nissan Sunny Truck, was the second generation of the 1200. Production took place between 1971 and 1989 due to its high popularity. The 1200 was initially produced as an affordable and economical competitor to the Toyota Corolla. It was offered in sedan, coupe, and wagon variants, which ran for three short years, unlike the highly popular utility version.
