114/632 HSV VR Senator powered by a supercharged 355ci stroker engine.

HSV was a joint venture between Tom Walkinshaw and Holden and was introduced in 1987 as the performance vehicle sector of Holden, after controversies around the HDT Director and Energy Polarizer from Peter Brock's HDT vehicle sector. In 1993 the significantly redesigned VR Senator was released that features more luxurious rear seating, a Senator body kit to produce a sleeker and more aggressive stance along with a 185kw version of the 5.0L Engine and a new suspension was also developed, known as the touring package which aimed to provide more capable handling as well as a smoother ride.

This extensively modified example features a 355ci stroker engine coupled with a Vortec V2 side-mount supercharger and backed by a rebuilt 4 speed auto with aftermarket torque converter to produce a healthy 371hp at the wheels. The engine has been fully built using forged low comp pistons, ASR sump, blue top injectors, Yella Terra roller rockers, double valve springs, aftermarket 286 camshaft and Torque power single plane manifold with a 90 degree edlebrock elbow and Chev "LS" throttle body. Other modifications include water-methanol injection system, pacemaker inch and three quarter headers and twin 2.5 inch exhaust, 3:46 differential, 4 pot AP racing front brakes, 20 inch "Tryspoke" wheels, DMS coilovers and more.
