The VK Commodore was produced for only two short years and was the fourth update of the first generation Commodore. The VK saw some significant modern changes from the previous Commodores, with the most obvious being the plastic bumpers as opposed to the previous metal ones. Some trim/model names were also changed with the SL/X replaced by the Berlina name. VK Commodores have seen some significant price jumps since the demise of GMH. Especially sought after are factory top spec models like the SS & HDT as well as factory V8 models.

This VK SL Commodore would make an ideal base for a street car build or even as a simple weekend project. The VK does run and drive and has traveled an indicated 155,734ks since new. New tyres and 20" Walkinshaw style wheels have just been fitted, and the car features rear venitian blinds, Group A style grille and front bar, factory Cerulean interior, towbar, bonnet scoop hubcaps & steering wheel spares in boot and more.
