The TRD Hilux was produced for the Australian market and saw a number of exterior, interior and mechanical upgrades over the standard SR5 Hilux. Two specifications were offered, the 4000S (Supercharged) and the 4000SL (Supercharged Luxury). The 4000SL was no cheap option, costing an impressive $65,000 in 2008 and featured a 225kw 453nm supercharged 4-Litre V6 which still offered the same fuel economy as a standard Hilux. The range of upgrades by TRD is to long to list, but well worth a Google to see how impressive these highly capable dual cabs really are.

This example on offer has traveled only 111,456ks since new, with good partial service history and current NSW registration until 22/03/2025. Features include nudge bar, Light Force spotlights, foglights, side steps, window visors, 17" alloy wheels, roof racks, rear canopy, metal rear step bar with towbar (no tounge), black leather seats with red stitching, power windows and mirrors, upgraded sports steering wheel and shifter, cruise control, six-disc in-dash CD audio system and Lexus-style Optitron premium instrumentation, build plate with build number, trailer brakes, low range gearbox, part time 4x4 system and much more.
