Becoming increasingly sought-after, this Fairmont GXL can also boast that it’s a Matching Numbers car (identical VIN and engine numbers). Built in November 1978, with the popular 4.9L 302ci 4V V8 Cleveland engine, it’s mated with the 3-Speed Cruisomatic T-Bar Automatic Transmission. Having undergone an older restoration in its original Satin Spruce metallic green colour, this popular Aussie V8 classic is a true survivor. This vehicle is unmolested and the interior is completely original, right down to the factory Ford AM radio and optional Philips Cassette Stereo. The roof headlining, carpet, velour upholstery and door trims are all original.
Other features include: Power Steering, the full set of 5x original Fairmont GXL 14 inch Alloy Wheels, Michelin tyres (with good tread), Bumper Bar with front and rear over-riders, the famous Fairmont bonnet scoops and sought-after fuel filler door.
