The Nissan GT-R Is a name that nearly everyone knows when it comes to high-performance sports cars. The GT-R Abbreviation stands for Grand Turismo-Racing and has become a global icon for the Nissan brand. Unveiled by Nissan in 2007 it was the highly anticipated successor to the popular Skyline GT-R, a proven high performance variant of the Nissan Skyline and while the nameplate "Skyline" had been dropped, the GT-R retained its signature 4 round tail lights and a new and improved version of the 6 cylinder twin turbo-charged all-wheel drive platform. The production model of the GT-R was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show as scheduled, right after an on screen 7:38 Minute lap time around the Nurburgring Nordschleife beating the Porsche 911 (997) Turbo, also being the 7th fastest production vehicle ever around the track. In 2009, for the 2010 model year, Nissan updated the GT-R by increasing the engine power output to 485 PS (357 kW; 478 hp) at 6,400 rpm. While it had no improvement in engine torque, the launch control system was reprogrammed to reduce stress on the transaxle also offering the modification for already sold 2009 models. Other upgrades included: re-tuned suspension, updated wheel finish, standard front seat and side curtain airbags.This Nissan GT-R Black Edition is 1 of only 1021 R35 GT-Rs to be Australian delivered Between MY10 and MY21.5 and is 1 of only 77 Delivered in KH3 Black. Other features included black 20 Inch alloy wheels, Large 6 piston front and 4 piston rear Brembo full floating cross drilled and slotted brakes and much more.
