The Nissan S30, sold in Japan as the Nissan Fairlady Z and in other
markets as the Datsun 240Z, then later as the 260Z and 280Z, is a grand
tourer produced by Nissan from 1969 until 1978. The Nissan Z's styling, engineering, relatively low price, and impressive
performance resonated with the public, received a positive response from
both buyers and the motoring press, and immediately generated long
waiting lists.
This 240z has been sitting on an inland property in west NSW and is
ready for restoration. The 240z appears to be mostly complete less some
of the front end and glass, and the car does show some signs of rust, particularly in
lower areas such as the floor. The engine does turn over, and fires but did not idle so the car has not been tested further. The Japanese sports coupes are a desirable choice of a classic car, [particularly the 240z
with a following across the globe.

Mostly complete, missing door trim and carpet, worn and weathered, cracked dash, will require restoration
